PROJECT OVERVIEW

The final book of the Bible is one of the most complicated, strange, and widely misunderstood books of the bible. When I was asked to create a bumper based on the 7 letters written to the churches, I wanted to keep true to the book. 

I started with a view of Revelations that many in their time might have, a view of Rome falling, and combining that with the quite strange and otherworldly way John describes the sights he sees. I wanted to envision Jesus writing this but doing so in a context humans could grasp, and the final product is peaceful yet tense.
